Dark mode when or i'm blind and it always existed
already asked for it but havent got any actual answer https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=27649
I think TPT wants to stay this way because it's kinda nostalgic to have the light-mode only style just like YouTube from 2005-2016. Either that or they'd have to program beyond their comprehension. After all, TPT is not company owned, so it's not easy for devs and mods to program something so advanced. Dark mode may seem like a few lines of code but I'm pretty sure, with an old website like this, it would require modernization (which I do not support).
After all, in modern devices, you could use night mode on your device so you feel more comfortable with your eyesight.
FINAL EDIT: In reply to @AerospaceFan; @LBPHacker literally told you to use this as dark mode in the forum you mentioned.
i expected for someone to answer more of a yes or no beacuse reasons, google says you can inject a small CSS invert() filter and it kinda works, and night mode (atleast for my device) lowers blue light but still doesnt stop me from getting blinded in the night
@Sylvi (View Post), At least there's an automatic dark mode on this tab so, I guess there's a little win to that. ![]()

No, dark mode does not need "modernisation", Windows Vista pulled a dark style off really well and so did bandicam 2 and HTC/[name of android manufacturer who shipped with a dark theme in the old android days] in 2014. Also the idea that modernisation is this flat design and is bad, isn't even entirely true because Apple have changed their UI to something modern and quite good once you use it, also Windows 8 was an attempt at modernisation by Microsoft and I really like the design style, obviously half of this post is subjective but most people are averse to stuff simply because either they have rose tinted glasses for the past times or enough people have said something is bad, like Windows Vista, which was good when it got it's service packs, and Windows 8.1, which was good, even if it was a touch confusing. What I personally don't get, is why the software got really flat when the technology was good enough to make the UI photorealistic. But that is an entirely different topic and this post would turn into a rant if i went on about that.Dark mode may seem like a few lines of code but I'm pretty sure, with an old website like this, it would require modernization
