    I'd rather not add too many minor variants of every element. If you need it breakable, use PIPE, otherwise PPIP. If you just want the start / stop functions you might be able to find other means to get what you want at the PIPE entrances.

    Why do we actually need breakable PPIP we only need unbreakable PIPE used in high-pressure factories.For the flow control like @jacob1 said just use PSTN

    using an indestructible material for a destructible element is stupid, it removes the purpose if you have to use pstn

    If life of PPIP = 61 then
    Keep it at 61 and make it breakable
    (no this won't break old saves as who in their right mind has ppip with a life of 61 (plus life is used for generation of ppip and its going to be always starting at 60) )

    @Tadpole1 technically you can design your factory such that the PIPE never comes in contact with high pressure

    Most element suggestions could be solved by other elements and a little critical thinking. I've barely found any situations when this does not work.

    well then resic. How do you make a pipe which can be toggled and is fully breakable?
