How does the system for LIFE work? (like, what does tmp do, i think tmp2 is generation number, and how do i convert. from rule to value and vise versa, etc.)

also i'm too lazy to look into the source code

wait how do i see tmp3 and tmp4 because the 0x0080c isn't in ctype, and tmp is just color i think
i used signs to see tmp and tmp2 but {tmp3} doesn't work soooo..
