Abandoned iOS version of TPT

Okay, for those who don't know about this, there was an iOS port of TPT in the app store years ago. However it's been abandoned and newer iOS versions and models don't even support it anymore. One time, I paid about 3-5 dollars on that port and it wasn't compatable with my device, but I was able to download it on a computer. Can anyone please tell me why it was abandoned and if the devs can (no pressure), can they make at least a decently updated version of the said port. I would be glad it wouldn't go to waste. I wont protest or boycott TPT for this, since it wasn't expensive. I just want it to be available for the new iOS models and versions. If you really can't for an important reason, then I forgive. If you can and did, thank you and I'd be happy. Also if you can't, you should unlist the game because it's dead rn.

That was actually an unofficial port and the current devs have no way of updating or unlisting it. There is also no chance of an official iOS port of TPT in the foreseeable future since the main devs don't have Apple devices to develop and test one on, and even having an app on iOS app store (yes, even a free one) costs $100/year. Unfortunate, but Apple just isn't very friendly to open source apps.
