Bypass option

    The 99.4 game released today was not fun and I regret having played it.  It took me 3 hours to finish it; 3 hours I'll never get back and my prize for it, the 99.5 update that removes the game, but does nothing else.  To prevent anyone else's time being wasted, I'm suggesting that we add an option to bypass April fool's day updates, so that anyone who doesn't wanna do stuff like this can just skip it.

    The intended way to bypass April fools' updates has always been to download the previous version from the website, and this works fine.

     To be honest, what's the fun in bypassing April Fools' jokes? The whole point is to play along in the shenanigans, not to be a Debbie Downer.

    Not planned. Going forward for ease of use, we might offer a branch on Steam that doesn't have the april fool's joke. But LBPHacker is right, the intended way is to not update or to redownload the old version.

     What makes me feel better is that it's over.  I'll never play it again, or download any updates on April fool's day again.  Thankfully, I don't have to.
