if you try to break it it should spread around the map and even spread through walls, it is hard to destroy without pausing and the structure it makes has holes in it that can be filled with dust which frys it, making it inactive.

depending on the for of destruction you use it will just keep duplicating what you put until there is no gold virus left and only whatever you put in, example: antimatter.
