just look at the orion constellation where there is a bunch of massive, young stars that appear white whilst betelgeuse appears almost slightly orange-ish

i think most of the stars, whilst tinted / glowing their spectral colour, the actual star should appear near white unless, like betelgeuse, it has an extra low / high temperature
