    Just to clear up any confusion, the uranium in tpt is U238 which is too stable to fissile. In real life, Little Boy used U235 which does fissile, but U235 isn't in tpt.

    The explosion was cool, but the Little Boy was a uranium bomb, not a deuterium bomb.
