    ok so i got the source for tpt (can't find tpt++) and tried it in the compiler that i use "bloodshed Dev-C++" and it opens but i can't figure out how to compile it into one file. any suggestions?

    is it only easier for the elements or is it easier with actually making things too, like very basic extra funtions and stuff like maybe a layering tool(to layer different elements)?

    no, the new one is easier for elements. There isn't a complete tutorial, but it should be enough.

    ok so lets say i wanted to make a mod or maybe just look at it and try some stuff... it would be easier with the older version?

    something used to compile things. the old tpt was compiled with a makefile.
