In that case aether stasis isnt very sneaky anyway considering, and it would be impossible to sneak it in far enough anyway. Also the orbit of the planet is covered in defense platforms, and will be seen by one 99% of the time, and if you keep firing they develop defense against it

actually the atmosphere would be similar size bc hgher gravity, def nt 1500km but 200km at most, and aether stasis has a range of like a 800km sphere

Oh Noh a piece of atmosphere died and the vast majority of the bomb is wasted! bc its 1.7 earth size and that means the atmosphere has to be bigger to compensate so the bomb goes off at smth like 1500km off the surface. It wouldnt even hit the rings because those are far from uranus itself.

planetArdrasil: if it comes with the same inclination as ring, and a high yield aether stasis warhead detonates on atmospheric contact so you wont know till its too late

fake spots: needs specific spectrum and the laser has to line up with the ring.

what if im coming from such an angle that the ring cant show the ship? or im using a laser to cause fake spots in the ring to cause a false alarm?
