Those ice sheets have chemicals that create gases that are noxious to humans dont go on them... Also warring here is a good way to get that orbital array shooting you. This is alternate map to ironwars and is Ardrasil's primary rest place, free to all.

larger planet actually means thinner atmosphere at sirface

no way its .3 on 150km, that would cause the atmo to be like 250km

Also rods tend to fall onto their sides

Atmo density is 0.3atm at 150km scaling to 1.3atm at sea level

also if its coming head on theres minimal atmo drag, and i included atmo drag in my calc

    depends on the atmo density

Surface gravity adn you sadi you start at 10km per second, and will slow down on atmospheric contact

assumed atmo height of 150km, radius of 1.7 earths and gravity of 9.75m/s2 (you said those yourself)

ok so rods will speed up to ~14.5km/s on atmo entry lowering the time to 10s at best, assuming reentry will become detectable at 90km you have 6.2 seconds to react, add in atmo drag and you have 7s
