    (on the back of rings) instead of making the shadow a soild 2 or 3 pixel blend try making it 5 or 9 to give more realism.

    i think you should add more slight detail to the inner parts of the rings (brighter where more light hits, maybe?), make the edges slightly blue where it overlays the planet and make the anti-aliasing slightly harsher
