  The CONV makes it wholly impossible to use literally any form of what I assume your notion of a "conventional" bomb is.

  not...really? 1px of DEST is the same as 1px of anything else. given the restrictions of the save, it only makes sense to maximize the destruction-per-particle

  I think people are overthinking the challenge - it's just a silly fun thing to do. You can breech the wall with DEST/BOMB/SING/etc, but those are expensive to your end score. The point is getting the highest score, but also not use the excessive layering/particles and fancy tech everyone is dependent upon
