Too free and you become lost, too restricted and you lose the right to... you. Neither is inherently a good thing, and learning to manage your emotions to an extent is good. Whatever you believe in, the universe, god, abstract ideas. Everything has some good if you know how to view it, the things that happen in your life, negative and positive, make you who you are, and you have the power to do that to other people too. Be wise and willed, just... look at life.
Please read my other few comments down, they are the one about lifetime and mourning is important.
Another thing, since we are on the topic of negative emotions. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORRY, ABOUT ANYTHING, EVER. Being concerned is allowed, worry is not though. The difference between being worried and concerned is that worry is consistant (sometimes demotivating) obsession over possible negative outcomes, from past or future events. Being concerned on the other hand, is when a matter IS IN YOUR CONTROL TO AN EXTENT, and you are thinking about ways you could possibly remedy the situation.
I don't mean to be mean, but he served his purpouse. I say you are not allowed to linger to the point of inaction for too long. I know he must've been a good cat. Mourning is allowed, but only so much. You have a limited time on earth yourself in this incarnation, spend it wisely, just remember that.
He's probably thinking "bro stop crying so much it's nice here like wtf im a cat, you'll be here too anyways." whilst his spirit is in the incomprehensible realm of judgement. cleansing, and bliss. At this rate he may knew more than you, yes knew... past tense. He is probably reincarnated by now, maybe still a cat.
thank you all for mourning him with me. :(
I shall play "Preu(Eszett)enlied" for your cat Mory. Or "Borussia" if you would want.
