So my 140mm APFSDS round will penetrate the steel, will NOT get its kinetic energy distributed evenly due to being a depleted uranium dart going at 2km/s, will pass through the air, (literal air??? There's a limit to how dense you can compact stuff) and go out through the other side.

quest42aeiou: sound absorption and heat absorption it basically traps insane amounts of air plus it's actually great for kinetic impacts
