Electric vehicles are quite costly, and even then, how are you maintaining stationary charging stations in the middle of Antarctica? At least fuel can be moved around, and even that comes with its own risks, but that only burns, lithium-ion batteries literally can explode. You would have a hard time transporting it when it could literally be targetted and exploded.

Reactorguy feels like a powerplayer, no way are you sucking up so much CO2 while fighting wars with total air, land, and water supremacy, and all while having to tediously preserve ecosystems from missile strikes.
