    good idea, I was planning something similar for a next generation charge. you will find it challenging to stagger them, it took me forever to get a working method for that.

    same issue, the quartz gets heated and can deflect/block penetration when alloyed with GOO or DRIC

    uranium does work, but the heating concept is counterintuitive, heated quartz (ie. from the uranium) actually becomes very pressure resistant. This is what Glazer uses in his wall!

    produce more gas to transfer heat and also act as a millisecond heat buffer and casing to give the titanium time to channel pressure.
