    Cool save, must have taken a lot of work. Interesting to see some oblasts were autonomous from the beginning, mildly separated from most of Russia itself. And that Russia switches status in June 1990, not sure what happened then.

    UkSSR and BSSR had bigger level of independence before 1990. They even had their own seats at UN, not to mention their own KGB and stuff
