Umm The troops did not take very long to mobilize, your pre-trained citizens only needed a month or so of re-drilling and officer commisions. What will take a while is for all the troops to get up to your colony and mobilize/organize themselves properly. They haven't experienced a war campaign of this scale yet, they haven't even waged war itself yet, so this is out of their comfort zone, but they should get used to it in due course. -

A new crossbow with a gravity fed bolt rack has been developed, it can hold 8 bolts and fire consdierably faster, although it still needs to be manually loaded.

MinecraftTranquility 6th Feb 2020erictom333 Your fleet has landed and set up a small port on a minor peninsula near the outer rim of the fertile gulf. Apparently the gulf is essentially a current well, storms during the fall/winter push oceanic currents into the gulf, and in spring/summer the currents are blown back out by the inland winds. This makes it extremely hard for your ships to breach the gulf sea, you need more ship power and better design to pierce the currents.
