    Actually, a good idea would be to make the reader thing have to DTECs so that it knows when it's sitting on the border and won't need to go up.

    You could also just line the entire wall with DTEC so the needle doesn't jump around, but it is a cool idea.

    I think the gauge's colors should be from red to green. Or if you want it to be from red to blue, it should be red, yellow, green, blue.
