First of a series of subframe tutorials. This aims to be a gentler and more interactive introduction than LBPHacker's preliminaries save.

I think going to Proxima centuari is easier than this.

IRC link is https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=powder-subframe by the way

@NovaStar That's awesome! Discord works, I guess. I've sent you a PM on the website with my Discord tag; you can access it at https://powdertoy.co.uk/Conversations.html (log in with the same account that you use in TPT). If you would prefer IRC, there's a setup guide at https://powdertoy.co.uk/Wiki/W/Irc_setup.html

But really, i want to beta test
-
._. How does that work? I only use Discord xD

On that note, would anyone like to beta test future lessons? Just PM me or find me on #powder-subframe. @NoVIcE I agree, but even the simplest subframe creations (DUC's magnifier, jeffluo35's levitator etc.) require a lot of background. For now, it's up to people like you to make awesome demos (and maybe link to this tutorial series!). If this series goes far enough for the activities to start becoming "cool", I'd probably advertise those activities in a "cover page" save as well.

@R33sesK1ng @GajchE Yeah, it's not difficult to make changes to the text; I have a script that automates all the placement and formatting for me. I wouldn't say that I'm making these to relieve stress; I just want to make subframe less of the imposing black magic it currently is (so really, any feedback is welcome!), and hopefully grow the sub-community. Besides, teaching is actually harder than making -- at least when making, you can instantly tell whether your creation works or not.

@GajchE Instead of commenting on you poor grammar, like many people do instead of debate intellectually, I will point out that mark2222 was very happy to help with the tutorial. It seems like it wasn't at all difficult for him to make this. If he wants to take a break from his projects that would stress him out, he will do it without question. He clearly wants people to learn about subframe more, and has his own reason for that. I understand the want to teach people as well.
