We are back, refurbished and with new ideas. Read all of our old discussion on the forum under a topic called Evolution in a video game! Anyways the main plan is to create small bots that eat to survive, reproduce, and then change (genes). Check list.

    Also that would be quite useful: the brain functions and genome would use the same gas core, and it would have a normal gravity pattern moving the gas particles in it. When it reaches a wall, it would simply send the controlling particle to the proper place

    Oh! Gasses can move whilst in BIZR!!!!!! OMG! My genome can be put in a bot if you fill the space with BIZR and use layered DTEC to detect all of the gasses!

    Using a module like this would assign randomly occuring functions to the presence of a certain element. It's limited to 2 genotypes for each gene, but I think it would be a good start.

    I say we just stick with my design for the meantime, and keep genetics external. It also makes it easier to breed bots.
